The Platform is designed to facilitate the sharing of civic, transportation, and community information. Content you submit through the Platform may be displayed publicly, shared with other users, used in aggregate analyses, or otherwise made available through Platform features.

By submitting content, you grant CapitalFix the rights described in our Terms of Use, including a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute, and otherwise exploit submitted content for any purpose related to the Platform.

You should not submit any content that you wish to keep confidential, private, or restricted, as CapitalFix cannot guarantee the confidentiality of any submission.

We may disclose information in the following circumstances, without limitation:

• To service providers, contractors, partners, and vendors who assist us in operating, securing, and improving the Platform, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• To moderators, administrators, and personnel involved in content review, dispute resolution, security, and governance.
• To government authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law, legal process, governmental requests, or protection of rights, property, or safety.
• In connection with any financing, merger, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, dissolution, bankruptcy, or other business transaction involving CapitalFix or its assets.
• To any other party with your consent or at your direction.

We retain information for as long as we reasonably consider necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including platform operation, security, fraud prevention, compliance with legal obligations, enforcement of our Terms, dispute resolution, and archival or record-keeping purposes. Retention periods may vary based on the nature of the information and the purposes for which it is processed.

We may aggregate, anonymize, or de-identify information and retain and use such information without restriction or obligation where it can no longer reasonably be used to identify an individual, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of any information, and you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

Information may be processed, stored, and accessed in jurisdictions outside your province, territory, or country of residence, including by service providers and infrastructure partners. Such jurisdictions may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer and processing of information in such jurisdictions.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us. We may decline or limit requests where permitted or required by law, or where necessary for legitimate business purposes, legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, enforcement of our Terms, or protection of CapitalFix, its users, or the public.

Where we rely on consent for a particular use of information, you may withdraw such consent where permitted by applicable law. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

The Platform is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that personal information has been provided by a child who cannot validly consent, we may delete such information and take any other action we deem appropriate, without notice or liability.

Certain features of the Platform may involve automated processing of information, including automated content moderation, analysis, and decision-making. Automated processes may result in actions affecting your account or submissions. You may contact us to request human review of any automated decision that you believe has materially affected your use of the Platform.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CAPITALFIX DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES REGARDING THE PRIVACY, SECURITY, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY INFORMATION COLLECTED, PROCESSED, OR STORED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PLATFORM. YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM AND ANY SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time by posting an updated version with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the amended Policy. It is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically.
